About

Long ago I had the idea to start a podcast and interview some of the older folks in the local construction community to hear the stories about how they started their companies. I have been fortunate to know a lot of these folks and learn bits and pieces of some of the origins, but I also know that each company’s journey is far more unique and fascinating than I could ever imagine.

Late summer of 2021 one of the more iconic gentlemen in this industry passed away. He had always been at the top of my list to interview for this podcast, which had yet to come to fruition. His passing made me realize that opportunities to sit down with some of the founders and leaders of these various companies was not indefinite. I decided it was time to get busy making this podcast that I had been creating in my mind the last few years.

Join me as I sit down with some of the founders, owners, leaders, and pioneers from the construction industry and hear their seldom told histories and stories behind their companies. I hope you enjoy listening, and along the way learn something.

New episodes will launch the first of every month.
